This was very cool! I ended up in a different direction than when I started and even switched from writing to myself like a journal, to writing to another person who was separated from my character. I'll have to revisit this later to see what else comes out of it :)
Also, if you don't own any Tarot decks like me, I ended up using virtual dice and a virtual tarot deck (free!). The cards were listed by arcana so I rolled and counted down the list to "pull" my card. They had the traditional artwork, but I'm sure there's one out there with something different too.
I had a lot of fun with this! I recorded my writing in a blog post here. It took about three hours to do, and the time really flew by. I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a good writing exercise that can be completed in a few hours.
